In brief, Mercedes lost the case as they were involved with the Tony Oestermeier builds in the US. They even bought parts from Gullwing Inc, and this particular car had been in the Mercedes photographic studio.
Mercedes were forced to return the car, pay damages and all legal costs.
This is the only replica Gullwing that has been through this process and therefore it's fair to say that this car cannot legitimately be the subject of another possession order.
